HIGHLIGHTS
OF OUR ARIZONA AREA
Part
II
This page last updated: January 2, 1999
As we continue our travels in the northeastern area of Arizona, you can have the unique opportunity to drive through a few of the reservations. Even today, a distinctly different culture can be found, when compared to the rat-race of daily existence most of us live in urban and suburban areas. Life is slower, simpler, and involves a communion between the Native Americans and Mother Earth. While driving through this area, it's not unusual for the animals to the right-of-way, so one must be prepared to stop and wait for sheep to cross the road every so often.

Their culture and costumes are intertwined within our everyday life, from furniture to art to clothing. Again, you can learn more about their contributions by visiting our section of "Little Saguaros."
